Directors Address

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the first-anniversary edition of the ‘In-Site’ newsletter. Through the year we have received a lot of positive feedback about the newsletter from clients, vendors and from within SJ Contracts. This has always kept us excited and eager to publish the issue every quarter. I would specially like to thank members of the SJ Contracts team who have shown initiative in contributing towards the newsletter content.

In continuation of our resolve to create and develop better leaders, we have undertaken several initiatives over the past six months. In the recent quarter, we have specifically focused on developing managerial skills and competencies within mid-level employees. The ‘Jidnyasa Training Initiative’ is an outcome of this resolution.

Bhargav Jangle
Director

We are very excited to bring about an overall development in employees at all levels, which will help them not only in their professional lives but even in their personal lives. This idea will continue to be the cornerstone of all organizational and people development initiatives at SJCPL.
Also, wishing everyone a Happy Diwali in advance!

Featured Project – Chakan Plant – Lear Corporation

Lear Corporation, a fortune 500 company is a leading supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems for most car manufacturing companies across the world. In 2010 they decided to set up a new plant in Chakan to cater to the booming automotive industry around Pune and SJCPL was chosen as the general contractor for this prestigious project.

In phase 1 of this project, 200,000 sq. ft of plant area along with all infrastructure development was completed in only a short period of just 7 months. This feat of efficiency & timeliness in construction impressed the management at Lear corporate so much that they promptly awarded phase 2 & 3 of the project to SJCPL.

The plant area includes a PEB shed having column spacing of 24mts x 24mts, administration office with premium finishing, double-glazed façade, canteen building, scrap yard, and a security cabin. The distinguishing highlights of the site is it’s administration building façade, decorative compound wall, exposed colored aggregate plaster, and epoxy flooring in the plant area.
